LEGION RIDERS
POST 208 CHAPTER
From the Director
We are a group of men and women with a passion for riding motorcycles and have joined that passion with our dedication to serving veterans. The Riders at Post 208 are involved in activities including the Patriot Guard , providing escorts for funeral and memorial displays, welcoming home our veterans, Talons Out Honor Flight and Habitat For Humanity. Some of our members volunteer their time at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, while others spend their time with our other fund raising and Post activities.
The 4th Saturday of each month, September through April, we host a dinner. We use the proceeds from these dinners for many of our activities such as providing dinner for veterans from the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, donations for gifts to our annual Children’s Christmas Party and Children’s Summer Picnic. We also assist families and schools in our community.
We thank our Commander and the members of Post 208 for their support. We also thank our men and women in uniform and pray for their safe return to their family and loved ones.
The schedule of our meetings can be found in the Post 208 newsletter and are normally the 2nd Sunday of each month at 12:30pm in the Commander’s Lounge. In April, our Road Captains plan our rides for the year, and those are available on our Facebook Page along with information on all of our activities.
We welcome you to join us as a member. The requirements and application are available by clicking the links below or applications are available in the club room. Place your completed application in our mailbox at the Post or mail it to:
