ATTENTION MEMBERS
Do you have a daughter, granddaughter or friend who is a high school junior this year? We are looking for female students who will complete their junior year of high school in May/June 2022 to attend Girls State on June 2022. They need not be members of our Legion to qualify for the following program and it is a great opportunity. Complete your application online at www.michalaux.org and print it out. Then drop off or mail to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 208, 133 44th St SE, Kentwood, MI 49548. Please contact Kim VanDam at 616-534-3220 with any questions or concerns.
WHAT IS GIRLS STATE?
A basic concept to teach government from the township level to the state level usng a nonpartisan curriculum. It is a program instrumental in developing girls in leadership and pride while educating them as citizens of our system of government.
Don't forget to attend our Unit Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each
Month starting at 7:00pm with Social time at 6:30pm.
Membership cards for 2021 are in. Dues are now $30.00 for Members and $6.00 for Junior Members. If mailing, send to Attn: Candie Chase at 133 44th ST SW, Kentwood, Mi 49548.

Auxiliary Monthly Dinners
The 2nd Saturday of each month from October through March.
Volunteers are always needed to hellp with preparation, cooking and cleanup. Please join us to make our dinner enjoyable for everyone. Our dinners raise money to aid in serving our veterans.
